There is, however, one rather notable exception. Ralph Dewey has been an active contributor to the balloon industry for many years. He has published his unique balloon creations through books, videos, and dvds. He teaches, organizes jams and conventions, and his Balloon Excellence Award is one of the most sought-after honors for balloon entertainers.
Specifically for BHQ, Ralph has written a regular monthly column since 2001. He often sends us several columns at a time, months ahead of when they are needed, to ensure that he never falls behind. Ralph puts forth challenges every month to spur creativity among other BHQ users. And, he never stops sharing the ideas and bits of wisdom that he comes up with himself, or finds while searching the world (online and off), for balloon information.
It was thanks to another very long-time (and observant!) BHQ participant, Oliver Twist, that we were made aware that Ralph has written 100 articles for BHQ (he actually hit that milestone in June, 2009). We at BalloonHQ want to extend a huge, public thank you to Ralph for everything he has done to support the balloon industry, BHQ, and everyone with which he shares new ideas. Ralph, your contributions are greatly appreciated; we know that they've spurred creativitiy in others and helped to make BHQ a better place!
