Convention Time

Twist & Shout just ended a few weeks ago. We had a great time there, and from the reports we've seen, so did everyone else. Balloon entertainers are an interesting bunch to spend time with and we have the photos to prove it.

We're on our way to Chicago shortly for part two of the winter convention season. IBAC is sure to be fun and educational, as always.

The game is afoot

The number of contests that anyone can take part in this month is growing. We've counted three between IBAC and the National Halloween and Party Show.

We've been promoting BHQ's scavenger hunt, to take place in Chicago during the National Halloween and Party Show. We don't want anyone to miss out on a chance to win a digital camera. Everyone is invited to participate. You don't have to be a BHQ member (http://www.balloonhq.com/member) and you don't have to be attending IBAC.

The second game we had heard mention of is sponsored by IBAC. The'll be giving out prizes to a number of people that play. You have to be attending the convention to take part in this one.

For twisters that will be in Chicago, we just learned about another contest that's happening at the Transworld party show that's sponsored by Gayla. They're giving cash for the best twisted figures made at their trade show booth.

Wedding canopy

It's been exciting to see the number of photos people have been putting online. We've actually been having trouble keeping up with the stuff everyone has been contributing. A few people actually expressed concern over the large amount of space these photos are using and asked if BHQ would be running up against any problems with available disk space. Don't worry about it. As long as you keep uploading photos, we'll make sure we have room for them.

Marie Duncan of Ree-Dun Imagination has built her portfolio around elegant creations suitable for weddings, graduations and proms.
