Hammer Time

Gene Tamashiro

Aloha Fellow Twister's! It's time to Hammer your competition with this cool king-sized hammer. After watching my 3 year old nephew play with this thing, it was just too funny not to share this design with you all.

Balloons Needed:
1 - 646 Lime
1 - 350 Lime
1 - 350 Rose

  1. Inflate 646 Lime to about 12" and tie it off.

  2. Tulip/apple twist about 6" of balloon.

  3. Twist a 2-1/2" bubble and make a pinch twist.

  4. Twist another 2-1/2" bubble and make the second pinch twist.

  5. With the 350 lime, inflate to 24" and tie off both ends and trim knots.

  6. Fold the 350 lime in half and place it between the two pinch twist of the 646.

  7. With the 350 Rose, fully inflate leaving about 1/2" un-inflated tip. Don't tie it off yet! Measure about 36" of the inflated portion from the un-inflated tip end, deflate the rest and tie it off. From the knotted end, make a 2-1/2" Tulip/apple twist.

  8. Insert the (Rose) tulip twist in between the two (646 Lime) pinch twist as pictured.

  9. Just shape the claw of hammer downward as pictured.

Tip: When making the hammer, use bright toy colors. Enjoy!
