Not YOUR usual LINE WORK

This is a quick heart and rose for the sweethearts that show up. Three balloons, a quick bend and Valentines Day will be just a little bit rosier for your guests and you’ll give out a lot more cards!

1. Take a Red, Wintergreen and Ruby Red 260

2. Inflate the red almost to the end, tie the ends and find the center. Pull center down a hands width and squeeze and hold for a moment. Repeat twice more to “set” the dimple. Set aside or have the guest hold the heart.

4. Inflate the Wintergreen leaving a 2-3″ tail. Make (3) 1″ pinch twists and arrange flat. Attach the Ruby Rosebud and then form leaves down the stem a ways. I used offset leaves, but an “S” type leaf can be just as nice and a little quicker. I also bent the tips of the leaves by forming and holding a moment to let the heat of my hands set the bend. If offset, you can move on to attaching the rose to the heart, but I use two leaves; it only takes a second longer and the compliments are better.
