Hello everyone,
We all should tell Qualatex and Betallatex how much we love the new opaque 160s. I am busy reworking many of my designs and adding new designs to my offerings and the new opaque colors give depth and life to my sculptures.
Like most of you, I am getting out my Halloween designs and practicing for this season. Now I can make almost every design with the opaque colors so my designs aren't "see through." The new Betallatex Fashion Black is wonderful for hats and bats and spiders and all sorts of creepy creatures. The opaque lime green from Qualatex and key lime from Betallatex and the Betallatex lilac provide the perfect accent colors.
I've included an updated design from my newest book using the opaque colors. The cat looks great in Betallatex fashion black. The pumpkin is a 6" link-o-loon decorated with uninflated brown 160s with lime greenery. The curly parts are uninflated lime green 160s stuffed with wire. The whiskers are fabric wrapped floral wire (with the sharp ends bent down). Add some glue dots or rubber cement and you have a cute kitty who has just visited the pumpkin patch.
Keep twisting miniature designs and wowing your customers!
See you next month,
Linda Berman
