Let's start with the Wand. You will need one 260Q of any color (I will use yellow but you may wish to use pink), a 5" Betallatex Heart of the same color, and a 5" Flowers Around Clear.
Start by stuffing the heart into the flowers around balloon and fully inflating both of them making sure to tie the nozzles together so the heart is not floating in the round. Now fully inflate the 260 and tie it to the stuffed round like so.
Make three loop twists and you're done. Another method would be to fully inflate the 260, find the middle and make two loop twists then spiral the balloon. Tie the stuffed round to the spiral like so and you have a quick but impressive wand.
To make the hat you need the same balloons you used for the wand. This time I used a 5" stars around clear to show how you can adapt this to almost every event or situation. Again stuff the heart into the clear and fully inflate both tying them together. Inflate the 260 leaving a 1" tail and tie it to the stuffed round. Now tie the tail to the round as well. Twist the 260 about five inches from the knots and make two loop twists. This will easily fit most heads. For smaller or larger heads adjust your measurements accordingly.
I like to go one step further to make the hat base more of a one size fits all by squeezing the back of the hat in the middle of the loop to give it a kind of feather shape (perhaps you could call it a feather base).
As far as the crown it was in my July 05 column and as I said then it is inspired by Captain Visual and his book Captain Visual's Big Book of Balloon Art.
Now this hat and wand work with almost every imprint in the balloon world. I use it for the flowers around alone, aliens, smile faces, a 6" heart, any of the 5" safari prints, 5" stars around, or anything else you can think of.

If you use two 260s for the spiral then add an 11" agate or polka dot to the top you get a incredible looking ballon that is perfect for the younger kids.
This also works well with the 11" jungle animal prints or the 16" Globes.
Now dont just do what's here in print and pictures, let your mind run with this silly little design and most importantly, have fun with it!
Thanks for reading.
I hope you were able to learn somthing you can use.
Until next month, Happy Twisting.
