Subject: water weights Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2003 10:42:27 -0700 (PDT) From: HI All: Just reading some back issues and noticed the discussion on water weights. Here is a consideration to think of: 1. They Break!!! I know, you just had to make a few extra cause someone miscounted in the shop! We have had some nightmare stories to tell about this topic, so this is what we do if we absolutely have to use them. Stretch out 2 balloons (11 inch) then double bag them ( put one inside the other). Go to the sink and fill up the inside balloon no bigger than the size of an orange. Dry off neck and tie and let inside balloon slip into the second balloon. Take the neck of the outside balloon and tie also. What you have done is given your water wieight a double skin and less likely to break even it that 10 year old decided to throw it around! Sounds simple and it is worth taking the time to do it! Clients don't like their balloon trees on the ceiling! Linda Kiss www.learnballoondecorating.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
