I had virtually the same problem about 2 years ago in Birmingham, AL.  What I 
did was call the hot air balloon company and asked for a referral fee for 
each flight they booked.  Although it didn't add up to a whole lot, it did 
give me another contact name and THEY referred some business to me.

Think how you can turn this "lemon" into sparkling lemonade.
