Subject: RE: foamboard pillars Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 17:09:45 -0500 From: "Judy Volkman" hello, A couple of years ago I attended the Gary Wells foam board class. What a wonderful class. But now I have a question and can not find his e-mail. If anyone knows it or if anyone can help me with my foam board question, I would really appreciate it. I am trying to recreate a landmark of 4 roman columns joined on the top with a long straight piece. Then there is an extra piece of stone on top. My question is this, I would like to make the coulmns 8 feet tall, but to make it easier to transport, i would like to put 2 4 foot sections together. How would I join the 2 pieces to make it secure. Also how would I weight this down. It will be in a very crowded area. If I rent pillars, I will still need to make the top piece and they can not be painted. I will still need to faux finish them to look like stone. This is an important part of the party. This will be a travel theme. We are also using flags, suitcases and airplanes. HHHHEEELLLLPPPP! Thank you oh great list!! Judy Volkman Not Just Balloons-Atlanta njballoons@bellsouth.net We Deliver Smiles!
