Subject: balloon release

Hi everyone,

Quite a few people have asked me about my silence the last few days. 
Sorry.  I just haven't felt like talking.  I'm still here.

Many people are asking about things they can do.  A few people have talked 
about putting balloon arrangments outside their shops, handing out 
balloons, and similar activities.  I just received a phone call from Shari 
@ Anytime Balloons in Little Rock, AR that proposed a group balloon 
release.  She asked me to write since she isn't currently subscribed to 
this list.

She isn't planning on doing this until next Friday so there's time for 
discussion about the best way to do it or not do it.  Here's what was 
proposed:

   Friday, Sep 21 12:00 pm US/Central time (GMT -5).
   As many red, white, and blue latex balloons as you feel comfortable 
releasing (be safe. No
        metallic ribbon.  No clips.  Just biodegradable product.)

Some of you wont' want to wait that long.  Many of you will be taking part 
in this evening's proposed candle lighting at 7pm (that wasn't propsed on 
BHQ, but it's been floating around the 'net) and won't feel comfortable 
dragging this out. Talk about it.  I'll go along with whatever the 
community as a whole decides.  I'm still not thinking very clearly.
