Hi Leslie -
I have made a simple apple tree a couple of times with happy client
results. Pictures no. 13054 and 14450 - it was super easy and cheap
to make. It can be made 2 feet or 10 feet tall using the same
technique. First - dont make the trunk straght up and down, make
the bottom of the trunk slightly larger and then again slightly
larger at the top of the trunk then add green until you have reached
the total height of your tree. Then make random clusters of the
green and tie them together in pairs with a appropriate length of
260. Wrap the 260 around the coulmn a couple of times and bam . ..
you have leaves. Keep adding clusters tied in pairs until the shape
is nice. Add clusters on top of clusters as needed. Add apples in
the leaves and at the base. Granted theis isnt the most realistic
approach - but its very affordable for the client.
Have a great one
