I'm sorry if any of you feel like I'm attacking you but you can't whine and post
about expensive hotels when there are other places to stay.  For the 3 nights
I stayed in CHicago for IBAC I paid les than ONE night at the HYATT.....and YES
you are punished by staying elsewhere and can't participate in some 
activities but there is an old saying that something is better than NOTHING.

The bottom line is you have to decide what is good for you and your company.
If you can't afford it this year...or even next, plan ahead...and like
Patty said IBAC is her vacation.

Sometimes you need someone to urge you to take a chance....even a tiny one to
achieve the smallest goal. Plan your goals; even if they are baby steps.
