From: Gina3cba@aol.com Date: Wed, 15 Mar 2000 20:21:38 EST Subject: Re: Float To: Decoman360@aol.com, JUDYBRADT@aol.com, Skistz@aol.com, i don't think Jim was trying to say no one else could make a float but him - but that bad balloon presentations hurts us all and they do! just from working on the sculptures at Ibac, i know all the designs are a great accomplishment by their own right. some people who competed have told me they made a "test run" before Ibac. the original writer did not state their experience and was asking for details or where they could get information on how to make the float. i work longer then 2 months on my big parties and some small, so 2 months for me would not be enough time for this feat. anyone who has done outdoor work can testify too, the forces of nature can make a simple arch not an easy job to get done, let alone a balloon float. with television coverage, i myself would definitely want this person to do a good job because current and future clients of all of us will be watching. remember it has been proven a satisfied customer will tell one or two people, but unhappy customers will tell everybody they know. the balloon business to me is still in its babyhood, so let's all nuture it and help it grow really big and strong!
