Knowing many of the producers and that Ibac was not always a profitable venture for them, I can only be happy for them if the fruits of their labor is paying off. There is a lot of work and personal time away from their families and businesses as well as money invested. They start working on the very next Ibac as soon as the current one is over. This was no over night success! We must remember that any business ultimate goal is TO MAKE MONEY and the fact that we in the industry benefit from the convention too, is great. This industry is still growing and no where can you find out what is coming about all over the world then at conventions like IBAC. I have attended other conventions such as Special Events and they to me pale in comparison! I know it expensive to attend these conventions, but I do feel everyone should go at least once. The Halloween show was added due to requests for a trade show like NABA had. Let me say now the trade show was the best thing about NABA and they no longer produce a balloon convention. I, myself would prefer the choice of the classes we lost to make time for the show and moving around the location because I also made it my working vacation. Let's be grateful we have such resources NOW because we didn't always. I say hats off to the IBAC producers and the main sponsor- PIONEER BALLOONS!
