HI all;

I want to thank everyone who sent suggestions for the miniature arch.
I really liked Patty's idea of using concrete in a floral container; though
I'm going to try to modify that idea a bit, and push connectors into
the concrete so that I can remove the arch and re-use the bases for
other jobs as well.  This list is such a wonderful valuable resource!

As a side note, I noticed that some people replied to me privately (which
of course I appreciated greatly!!!) instead of posting to the list.  While
I am indebted to -all- for your responses, I can't help but wonder if others
who are posting questions are also receiving replies privately..... in which
case there are many of us "newbies" who are losing out on valuable
information!  LOL   I, for one, wouldn't mind at all having more mail to
read on this list.  I've scoured the archives thoroughly and read each and
every post from the birth of this list, at least 3 times. I just hate to
think
of those who are kind and generous enough to respond to a plea for help,
posting their replies privately.  I realized that some may do so in the
interest
of keeping the list "uncluttered", but if it's balloon related, I'd be more
than
happy to read it!!  :)  So please, if you're replying to a question that's
been
posted publicly, feel free to post your answer to the list!  Some of us need
all the help we can get!  <grin>

Last but not least, I see that Flowers Inc. has posted a bit of info about
their
"Ballooniversity" convention on their website........ I'm definitely
planning to
attend since it's close enough for me to drive; can anyone give me any ideas
of what to expect?
