Hi all,

I did my first double bubble arch today for a bridal shower. Although
everyone was very impressed as well as myself, I also say the flaws. I had a
lot of trouble tying the balloons and often helium leaked out as I struggled
to tie them to the arch. This is what I did so please tell me if I did it
wrong or if there is a better way to do them. I took the inside balloon and
tied it around one side of the monofilament and the outer balloon around the
other and then tied them to each other. I could gradually see the outer
balloons shrinking over the course of the shower. My fingers are sore too. It
was so beautiful by after this experience I realize that there must be an
easier way. Please help!

Also, I learned of a neat tip to getting balloons off the ceiling if letting
them go by accident. You tie a helium balloon to a line and put a small piece
of duct tape on top of it. You slowly let this balloon rise up to the one on
the ceiling. It will stick to the tape and you can then pull it down. A boy
scout leader taught me this last night at a boy scout awards dinner that I
decorated for. I thought it was neat and would like to know if you know of
any other ways to do this.
