Hi;

Our workbench is 6' long, top is about 2" thick, and we attached a 3' long
metal measuring stick
across the front edge, which always comes in very handy. We ran a thin
shelf right
underneath, where I store all my large cello bags for gift baskets. At each
front end of the tabletop,
my husband installed electrical outlets so I can create an assembly line of
sorts from either end, if needed.
These come in really handy when I have to preinflate and Hi Float a large
number of balloons at a time....
Attached to the back side is a sheet of pegboard, so I can hang lots of
tools/ribbon spools within easy reach.

Hope this helps!
