BALLOON INDUSTRY ANNOUNCEMENT - TRADE ONLY
"Business of Balloons Pty Limited" wish to announce the acquisition of the
world wide online delivery network ³eballoons². Negotiations for the
purchase were finalized and contracts signed on Friday 14th July, 00.
Business of Balloons see the acquisition as an investment in a combination
of the local balloon industry and global e-commerce. eballoons will continue
to trade and operate in their own right and there will be no change of name.
The eballoons online service will ultimately benefit both our existing trade
customers and add yet another dimension to attract new business.
As BoB is a balloon industry supply and support company with trade customers
being our core business focus, eballoons will undergo a slight change in
marketing direction. The current eballoons web site will be redesigned to
cater for online deliveries with ³balloon business to balloon business²
being itıs primary intended user. All members will be issued with a "trade
only" access password. Local membership fees will be considerably reduced!
We see an urgent need for an online service to operate in a similar fashion
to floral networks where both the business owner sending the order and the
business owner delivering the order, are paid for their contribution in
servicing the consumer. With the revised eballoons network system, both
members will earn $ from the sale!
Dean Johnson will stay on as eballoons Network Manager. The network program
is still on target to begin online operation from August 1st, 2000.
eballoons will continue their commitment to sponsor Balloon Headquarters.
