In my opinion and experience you can do the QBN course in a year and learn a
lot, or you could search and practice for ten years and still wonder what is
left to learn.  The QBN or the Walden series will present to you the gamut
of material you need in an orderly fashion so that your earning potential
will grow more quickly.
