Sailor moon.

check one of the dozens of fan sites out there. It's a manga animation
series that has gotten some syndication here in the states. go cosmic in
theme and find any fan toys to go with it. It's a space sci-fi female
action - power rangers thing. Don't take it verbatem in meaning. Why I
know these things means - I'm probably surfing too much - but since it's
half my job ce-la-vie...

I'd go big with clear latex and lighting treatments as well as glow sticks
as well as strings for an out of the world feel in any design.
