Gee, with that endorsement, I don't think I can keep my mouth shut. You
can learn more about the poster Linda is talking about and see a few
samples of faces here:
	http://www.parmapublishing.com/book/BHQPoster.html

The faces pictured there are made from 260s, but they can also be made from
350s to get the scale you're looking for.

The poster has actually been out for about a year now, and the faces have
evolved quite a bit since then. If you're going to be at the All Star
Revue this week, stop by the BHQ booth and I'll be sure to show off the
newer stuff. Balloonicature is not one of the classes I'll be teaching at
ASR, but I'll be happy to show things to anyone that asks. I will be
teaching a balloonicature class at IBAC. The CD-ROM that Linda mentioned
will be available at ASR. (It should be available from a few distributors
within a week or so. Ask your distributor if you'd like to see it.)

Patrick Brown is actually responsible for the eyeballs Linda is talking
about. An example of the eyes can be seen at:

It's a bit hard to get the full impact of those eyes from a photo.

For other ideas of faces on large sculptures, take a look at a couple of
the entries in the current BHQ photo contest. one of them uses distortion.
another uses a decorated round balloon.

your favorites while you're there. Voting will only be going on until the
end of this month. We don't want this to end like the US presidential
election. We don't want the vote to be too close to call. Make sure to
cast your vote.
