i would suggest that any of you handing out flyers or anything else that
might end up in a mailbox without proper postage affixed contact your local
post office before doing this. as a rule they can and in some instances
charge you(because they are YOUR flyers even if they are delivered by the
Boy Scouts(at a fee perhaps). They can charge you for an entire city;area
or'route within the city' at their first class rate of .33cents for the
total delivery points of the entire city, area or 'route within the city'
depending on the area they have samples of your flyer from. postal people
are trained to remove any and all items from mail boxes and return them to
their supervisors daily. Could be a very expensive lesson to learn
especially since there are better ways to promote your business. If you
litter a persons private property;parking lots, etc. you could possibly be
faced with a fine from the city.Do you like to pick up unwanted circulars
out of your yard? I don't. u.s.postal worker and clown(I'm the REAL CLOWN at
the post office in Odessa,TEXAS
