I have to agree with,  "jitterbugakaboyd" <jitterbug@cleansed.net>, not
only can you be charged postage, but a fine of $300 per piece could be
attached (although usually saved for the most flagrant offenders.)  I
once brought back two FedEx Express envelopes back to my supervisor.
Real Estate agents have not appreciated me either.

Flyers as a general rule IMHO are just a shotgun approach to advertising
and responses are very unpredictable.
