I agree with you 100%.  I had a similar situation a few months ago, but I 
called the other balloon decorator and explained the situation.  We still 
have a good relationship-I did however end up doing the job.  It wasn't a 
large enough job for both of us, but if it had been I would have hired her 
to help.  Since that time we have worked together successfully.
