hi guys,

remember the 80th birthday i was preparing for? i got to talk to the
celebrant's daughter (she's the one preparing the whole party) yesterday to
finalize all the party specifications when i learned that she got 14 columns
from another person. when she noticed that i sounded a little surprised
with it, she told me that she can't do anything about it since the other
decorator (i suppose) is her friend and she just can't say 'no' to her.

i know that most of the decor at the party would be done by me but what i'm
worried about is the quality of the work of the other decorator. i don't
even know who she is. even if the daughter told me that i take charge as to
where i want to put the 14 columns she ordered... i'm still worried.

there are a lot of 'what ifs' that come into my mind.

the first thing i did was i asked the daughter to ask the other decorator as
to what brand of balloons she'll be using and what exact colors. what else
do you guys think should i ask and make clear?

if you suggest that i turn this party down since we still haven't signed the
contract for it, i can't... why? she's my eldest sister's bestfriend and
she's like family to us already.

waaaaaa... i'm so worried.
please enlighten me.
thanks!
