G'Day from Downunder,
Lori, welcome to the deco list! We are going on 11 years now, but I can
still recall the nerves and excitement leading up to our first job for a
commercial customer.
Although we are based in Australia, we are regular visitors to the USA and
other parts of the "world of balloons". Because of our travels to trade
shows all over, I often direct balloonies in need overseas to suppliers who
may be able to help. Sometimes it's to an off shore manufacturer or
supplier.
Like other subscribers to the BHQ deco list, I am wondering exactly where
you are located. Are you in the USA? Britain? Perhaps a fellow Aussie? Your
ISP is no clue as AOL are world wide. It would help us direct you to your
NEAREST supplier if there are more than one. Being new to this list, you are
probably not aware that it is considered an online "courtesy" to sign off
all your emails with;
Your name or pseudonym
Business name (optional)
Location (Country, State or Capital City)
This helps other subscribers give pertinent advice regarding your
circumstances such as climate, season differences, height above sea level,
various legislation applicable to balloons (California Law), local suppliers
and so on.
We look forward to seeing your name (and location) lots more often on the
BHQ. Good luck sourcing the star foils.
