	Hi,

Tim McConeghy, Lord of Latex. Most companies are leary about using their
own personel as outside contractors, something about conflict of interest
and what not. This also works for your benefit by protecting you from the
confusion employers can get in regards to a talented persons job
description.

I am a bit of a pessimist, but I have been in situations where the
employer confuses the relationship and expects that the regular wage covers
any and all skills posessed by the employee and "as long as you are on my
time..." etc..

While I'm on the subject of the employer's time, you should not interupt
your work to discuss your businesswith prospective clients or otherwise hype
your business. Talks with the catering manager should be on your day off in
proffessional attire, and yes, you should have whatever quality pictures you
have there ready to show.

If these cautions are already being observed then more power to you. Don't
expect the other company to be dropped completely but look forward to some
good work, and remember, you are the best balloon artist in your socks.
