Subject: A MILLION THANKS!!

Hello everyone.

I want to thank EVERYONE for the encouragement and support I received
for the 'disaster' wedding.

O.K. Now for the unbelievable FINALE!

On Sunday the bride called me and and left a WONDERFUL voice mail. She
loved the decor and got a lot of compliments!!!! I offered her a
refund for the archway that she wanted over the head table, and she told
me to keep it as a tip for the excellent job. In fact I have 2
REFERRALS!!

I suppose that I am my own worst boss. It is easier to be hard on
yourself when the buck stops with you.

So, I guess that it is not yet time to throw in the towel.

SOME GREAT TIPS I RECEIVED:

Learn something from the disaster to
be used in the future - tomorrow
is another day.

we specifically set out in the contract that
we are not responsible for weather and we can make adjustments to the
decor
as we see fit given that it is being done outside.......that covers our
"butt" so to speak!! Maria

Never give back money after
you did the job. You are your own worst critic! You know the bride may
have
walked in and thought it was gorgeous! Never assume that she is going
to
hate it! Wait for her to contact you, explain the situation and the
circumstances you were up against. Chances are you will be able to keep
your
hard earned money.

I also received a terrific e-mail from Wynn Bell about outdoor decor.
If anyone is interested, I will forward it to you.

Again to everyone ---- THANK YOU. :-)
