Teresa,
  Your ideas sound great, I'm stumped to think of anything else, you've 
seemed to have covered all the bases.  The only other things that came to 
the top of my head were balloon apples, an apple a day will keep the 
doctor/nurse away and Miniture flags because there is always a flag at the 
school. What are the schools colors? Maybe you can incorporate the colors 
into the decor.  I really like the idea of the nurse sculpture and the first 
aid kits.
