Grande" <rgrande@pacbell.net> Subject: Storefront Fedback Needed To: "balloondeco@balloonhq.com" <balloondeco@balloonhq.com> I've come for words of wisdom. I currently have a retail shop of about 640 sq. ft. I have a large selection of balloons and gift items. I also do decorating and deliveries. It's a very slow walk-in crowd and most of my $$ comes from decor and deliveries. (I have no room to work!) Here's my dilema: I want to change my format to that of a "showroom" type shop, concentrating mostly on wedding and special event decorating. I have a lot of money invested in merchandise that sits on the shelf for a long time and I know I want to get out of that side of it. Don't get me wrong--I'm not a failing business trying to do what I can to survive. I just don't want to deal with as big a retail side as I am. I'm not sure how I would handle this. Do I stop doing deliveries all together? Just do big bulk deliveries? I'm interested to know how anyone else is organized. Any help or comments would be grateful. Thanks so much, Robin Balloonville Newark, CA P.S. Devil's advocates are always welcome :-)
