Subject: Sculpture frames
Hi Tina,
I don't believe any of our customers charge a separate rental fee for a
sculpture. Rather, most of them charge a per foot charge, plus travel
and fees for extras like enhancements, ex. labor, etc. Your idea to
build in a maintenance fee when a sculpture is to remain up for a period
of time is sound. I think all these charges should be incorporated into
your one price to your customer so you don't get into a "nit picking"
situation. You also want to be sure that the customer understands that
the frame and, perhaps, other non-balloon items remain your property and
will be retrieved by you. This info. should be in your contract and in
many cases you may want to charge a returnable deposit - as costume
shops, U-Haul and other rental businesses do - to ensure the return of
your property.
Hope this is helpful. If you would like our latest free catalog or have
more questions please e-mail me.
