Subject: back to school

My first wedding reception was excellent.  All except one thing.  My pictures didn't turn out.  But I had the photographer to take pictures, just in case.  The room had no windows and we had all the lights on.  My flash was not strong enough.  I would like to know if the flash on the digital camera is strong enough for room with no windows.
Well in the next two weeks I will be dealing with back to school merchandise at Walmart.  Is there anything I can do and hang it  from the ceiling. I would like for it be up the week that schools starts back.  Which is the first week in August.  Also I would like to do something at my children high school. My son will be senior this year.  Please help.
