Deli, you were born to be a balloonie! Always seeing things through
decorators eyes. The window graffiti, is different (hideous), in your face
and bold. You pitch your balloons as something similar. I would say
something like, " I love what you have done with your window displays, the
graffiti is really innovative. It's so confronting and bold and it really
grabs peoples attention. When this display/promo is finished I have some
fresh concepts that are out there and in your face. Your windows will be
the talk of the town by the time I've finished with them." Out comes the
portfolio and the creative juices can flow. Okay, my script is a bit
clichéd, but you get the idea.
You will need to find out who has the power to say 'yay' or 'nay'. It is no
point presenting your stuff to some middle manager. The person controlling
the purse will need to see it to be convinced. Do your homework because
you'll probably only get one shot at this. Good luck and let us know how
you go. Go Mad with balloons!
