Subject: newcomers and not so newcomers

Hi, I was going to say about the same thing as the Dixons and
Jackie Carlson but could not have worded it as well! You should be
able to advertise and get paid full price at the same time.

However, since we are kind of on the subject of advertising, I would
like to ask everyone what (paid) advertising works best for them. We
have membership in the local Chamber of Commerce, advertise in four
phonebooks in two cities, have a web site, will be listed in a
Bridal directory next year as well as have a booth in a bridal show.
I guess I should mention that we are home-based,do deliveries as well
as decor and have been in business for around three years.

I really can't tell what works for us because we only had two
phonebooks last year and we get most of our business from that and
then repeat business. Occasionally we get an order for something
someone has seen at a hospital we deliver to. That has actually been
the best word of mouth. It all started with one person ordering from
the phone book!

anxiously waiting to hear from you! Thanks,

Dave Leek
