Crayons are super easy!

Just do a solid colored column and then create the word crayola on the
appropriate colored poster paper and wrap, of course at the top of the
column you make the point either out of more poster paper like a turet or
severely descending sized balloons.

As for an apple, that can be done several ways .......... probably since
your skills are still a bit limited being a newbie if I read your post
right) I would opt to keep it extrememly simple.

Make a one dimensional frame from aluminum rod in an apple shape with a
(twig/core/stem) piece at the top and then pack the rod with Bruce Walden's
technique of square packing where the outer two balloons are a bit larger
than the inner two balloons so they stay nice and tight and fit together
well.

You can do these in a variety of colors like apples, reds, new lime green,
goldenrod, and then the stem can either be balloons or brown poster board
glued on and don't forget to make a leaf!

Another variation on this would be to cover your frame on bothe sides with
the appropriate apple color poster paper and then pack the balloon garland
over it making a dimensional boarder and yet a solid apple. Hope that makes
since.

And, last but not least if you do not know how to make square packed garland
etc........
RUN RUN RUN do not walk to your distributor and start buying the educational
tapes available from people like Bruce Walden, Christopher Horne, Jan Iams
etc. and particularly GET STARTED on the Qualatex QBN videos for your basic
education if you want to be able to stay in the industry with all the
adjoining services and competition that is out there. OOPS! When did I get
on my soap box? Sorry! Exiting now....

Good luck you CAN do it!
