Subject: curling 260s

Hello,    

  I always see instructions to wrap 260 around cylinder or ? , then fill.  My 
question is,  is this done with automatic air or by hand-pump?  I use a hand 
pump and guide finger to curl which is kind of difficult. I have a air pump, 
but it doesn't fill 260.  Thanks for help.
