Laura,
I bought some rope lights from "Home Place" they were going out of business 
in my town and had a great deal.  Often places like Hobby Lobby, Garden 
Ridge, Waccamaw carry these lights year round and they definitely have better 
prices than the dreaded prom catalogue (many of you know how I feel about 
these places :-) )  Another idea for the columns might be to try some of the 
places mentioned above, I found some 24" plaster columns that had a few chips 
in them for an awesome price at Hobby Lobby.  These could be rented to the 
client and then used again for someone else (let your customers build your 
inventory).

PS  does anyone know what I need to do to change to HTML format so I can use 
my AOL 6.0?  Please e me privately if it is a fairly simple thing to do.
