Date: Fri, 18 Feb 2000 09:23:25 +1100 How about a SQUARE arch using LINK-O-LOONs with 5" collars inflated with either helium or air? Using air, you need to secure the arch at the corners of the door lintel. Add a small weight to each end of the arch to keep the hanging sections straight. You of course size the arch to fit the doorway exactly. This way, there is no framework or fishing line to worry about. Same applies if you use the Links to make a standard helium arch over the doorway. True, this is not a spiral arch, but very effective never-the-less. You can offer several arches for the same price. Perhaps worth a try? Dave Scott will be assisting in Vegas, and the "father" of LINK-O-LOON(tm), Jean-Michel Lucie, will be attending the Chicago show. Contact me privately if you need further booking details. Has anyone tried helium? I know when the arch is short, it bends at the curve of the arch too much. Just need to know that helium won't work and I need a frame. Thanks. Angie King, DE
