If it was close enough I would have sent my own crew.  I would have a SIGNED
contract from the sub-contractor.  Think you got (Hmmm - can I say
scr........ here?  Sorry you took it on the knuckles.  If you don't have a
contract - you have no recourse.  HOWEVER, you could pay the agreed amt +
the extra crew member (if you OK'ed it) and leave the rest.  Let them take
you to court and fight over the final charges.  This might be a good case to
