Greetings;
we have worked for another designer on several occasions.  He has an
excellent instruction manual, he assembles all materials except helium and
ships that to us along with 50% of the specified pay.  when the job is
complete we phone in a report to an 800 number and a check is mailed to us
as quickly as his client reports the job complete. Normally 24 hours.
There is a verbal agreement for our willingness to accept his offer. then it
works out fine.
To answer your question I would do as Maxine suggest.
