Subject: Blowing up others balloons at show
To: balloondeco@balloonhq.com

Hello everyone,
I was approached by a little girl from a few booths over today while setting
up for a show on Sunday. She was holding two balloons and asked me if I
would blow them up.
I looked at my husband thinking I should charge for the helium..but then
decided two can't hurt. Then it dawned on me...I asked her if she wanted
these to last for tomorrow's show and she said yes.
I told her that they probably won't last for tomorrow. I walked back to the
adults at the booth and explained to them that the balloons probably wouldn't
last for the show tomorrow, noticing privately the off brand of them, and
even commented I'm not even sure how long they would last at all. I also
noticed she had a whole bag and not just two. I didn't have any hi-float on
me.
Soooooo...next I noticed over there they DID have them blown up but I don't
know who did them.
So..now my husband is saying I should have just blown them up and not say
anything about the float time and just do it. If they didn't last for
them...to bad. But then I would think they would be blaming me for them not
lasting or educating them on it.
Then part of me thinks.. I should have, just warned them..and then at least
they would look at me as "she was nice to blow these up for us" But then
egads.. I could have had...or even have more people tomorrow coming to me
asking to blow up THEIR balloons too!! Yikes!
Now I'll just be known to them as the lady that wouldn't blow up their
balloons! lol
Any thoughts?
