Well, thanks to Judy Bradt's help, my safari party was a huge sucess. I
didn't make the elephant, instead we decided on a giraffe and a zebra due to
space restraints. The guys at the hardware store seem to avoid me these days
as I have spent much time talking to myself in the pvc aisle!!!
Now I have a new request. I have been working with a international company
who is having two "universities" for their salespeople. The first 3 days
have been completed, we did centerpieces with pendants for the first night
(freshmen orientation) and used logo latex for the hallways and social hour
tables. We also made some balloon letters. Another company in town who
specializes in trade shows provided at stadium backdrop for the orientation
night which consisted of painted panels that were screwed together (unevenly)
they also did the staging and pipe and drape. Because of MAJOR screw-ups the
company has decided not to use these people again! They have asked me if I
have any ideas for a backdrop besides draping the pendants along the pipe and
drape. Two things: the event is Sunday and due to the amount of space the
centerpieces take up in our truck (the venue is about 50 minutes away) we
need something quick and easy to wow them. I know the company they will now
be using for staging, etc. and they also have props but I would like to come
up with something so they can pay me!!!!!!! Any ideas or suggestions would
be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
