Thanks to all who responded to my post.  The party was last week-end and
it was quite a sight to see.  I had spray-painted old skates with
glitter, glued a skateguard to 12" round mirrors and placed the skate in
the skate guard to keep it upright.  These were used for the bases of
the bouquets on each of the tables.  The cake table was adorned with
bouquets done with clear balloons with irredesent glitter inside which
gave the immpression of ice crystals. 
The event was quite a success....thanks again!!!
