G'Day from Downunder,
Enter the "Back In Time Machine" for entrance decor. (incorporate flashing
lights and sound effects)
Bow and Arrow on each table - made from 260s. ???
A campfire?
Man invents the Wheel?
Steam Engine? (depending on the budget)
A clockface sculpture with the numbers going ANTI-CLOCKWISE
(that's "counter-clockwise" for the Americans)
Posters of Evolution. (Modern Man with arrow sculpture pointing back to ape)
With the hour glass .... maybe it would look more realistic if you actually
part filled the diamond clear latex on the bottom 2 rows (clusters) with
sand? The 3/4" rod from the base plate would go only as high as the taper.
(half height). Colour the rod the same colour as the sand or spray adhesive
the rod and sprinkle sand on it. It will then appear as the sand streaming
from top half to bottom half. Wrap the top half clear latex on mono only and
then, just a few at the tapered section of the top half with a little sand.
Sit the base plate on a 2" thick block of styrofoam painted browm. Same over
the top of the top cluster of balloons. Then have a 2" diameter brown tube
(cardboard or even painted PVC pipe) vertically positioned at the 4 corners
of the base and top, to look like posts between each of the styrafoam
blocks.
Good Luck. Hope you get some other ideas from the list.
