We do this occasionally for the budget bride.....with tulle, but the same 
principal. Two things to consider:

To get greater paylift use a 3 footer with two or three 11 inch helium 
duplets as a collar for more lift.

Keep the material "light" if it is to heavy it will pull the topper down...if 
that happens...cut the table cover in half lengthwise and do it again..it 
will float better with less material...but use enough to get a pretty swag 
look ..... I have PICS of ours if that will help...just let me know :)
