First, I have heard that grits make an excellent sand substitute and they are 
easier to clean up.
My mother gave me some chargers for Christmas, they are a matte gold 
stoneware type material and they came from Pier 1- I think they were around 
$12 each but they are nice quality.  I have not seen the photo you were 
talking about but you might also try someplaces like Waccamaw (I know they 
are in SC and along the east coast)

Now for MY questions!  I have a client that is planning a Blues themed event 
(you know, Memphis....)  They would like me to incorporate top hats, gloves 
and other music type "stuff"  I get my top hats from FSS and I know that ACP 
has musical type stuff and also design a foam.  They have champagne ideas 
like most of our clients.  any info or sugesstions would be of great help I 
need to get some ideas to her 4/18- short notice again
