Well, instead of a top hat, how about  a beret? Some French bread, cheese, 
wine, etc. these could be actual items in a basket, or prop versions. Accent 
the basket with little French flags, tiny Eiffel towers, etc. Maybe even some 
bad Jerry Lewis movies and Peppy LePew cartoons (well, maybe not)? Good luck!
