Hi Jane,

Any time a net or bag is used that is much over 20' long, a running stitch 
has always been a problem for us.  That's why we just go ahead and stitch it 
closed with the chain stitch.  Once you start it, it will come unstitched 
almost by itself.  It also allows for a very full drop bag.  It is not so 
hard to learn, but I have always suggested that people practice it several 
times.  Here again is my old saying - practice, practice, practice.
