The key to doing 6 packs is to tie the necks so that they are near the lip
or nipple. To do this you just start to tie the two together and while the
knot is really lose slide the knot to the end (lip) of the balloon. This
will give you more balloon to work with once you assemble 3 duplets to make
the 6 pack. You'll be better able to work with the six. It might not be easy
and it takes getting used to, but again the key is to tie the necks at the
end.

An alternative is the paper clip method. You tie each balloon separately and
put each on the same paperclip making sure to slide them all the way to the
bottom. Again this takes getting used to. Try the first method and go to
this method if you are having problems.

With either of these you certainly can put them on either mono or poles.
