Good points Don if they appeal to your company. Not so much afraid of 
competition as to following the "big boys" with like I said deeper pockets 
then me. I can learn from their experiences good and bad. I know you are not 
in the states but for those of us who are K Mart is in trouble and in the 
process of closing stores all across the nation. The company admitted that 
they had tried to out last Target by selling cheaper even at a loss to KMart. 
Then along came Wal Marts and KMart states they do not have the finances to 
out wait Wal Marts. Target not sitting idle improved its stores offerings and 
is booming. Can I not apply these aspects to my industry too? So MY OPINION 
is when I see not only Pioneer, but perhaps Sears with a link to JC Penny's; 
Target's to Wal Marts, Tiffany to Harry James, etc., or even that you can use 
any brand balloons or mylars to compete at Ibac, because I don't think even 
Pioneer just completely ignores competition, then I may take this kind of 
marketing into consideration for MY BUSINESS. If what you stated works for 
you and others great! We all have to decide for ourselves what's best for our 
own businesses. I do like this list to hear about the different options and
